How do I book a chalet cabin online at Claycomb Chalets?
To book one of our chalet cabins online please use the Book Online link located at the top of the page or in the menu options on a mobile device. To begin, enter the dates you wish to stay, the number of adults and children, and then click on the Search button.
Please note: Claycomb Chalets requires a 2-night minimum stay for all of our cabins and a maximum of 7 total guests per cabin. Our Wolf Den Apartment Chalet has a maximum of 6 guests.
Our online booking engine will show you the chalet cabins available for rent for your selected dates and group size. Once you have chosen an available chalet cabin please click the Select This Cabin button to fill out our online booking form. Please choose any additional booking options including pets, rental gear, etc. then enter your personal details.
For bookings 30 days or more in the future, you may reserve a chalet cabin by paying a $250 deposit or pay in full. If you elect to pay the $250 deposit only the remaining balance will be due 30 days prior to your arrival date. For bookings originating within the next 30 days, you are required to pay the full amount of the reservation during the booking process.
After you complete the booking process you will receive an email from Claycomb Chalets confirming your booking. Within 72 hours of making your booking, you will receive an email containing your rental agreement and an invoice for the balance of your stay if applicable.
Can I make a booking by telephone?

Does Claycomb Chalets accept pets?
Claycomb Chalets is pet-friendly with certain breed and size restrictions. Up to 2 pets are allowed with pre-approval and there is a non-refundable $100 pet fee for any length of stay. Please read our Pet Policy prior to booking a chalet cabin with us when you are bringing your pets with you.
What time is check-in / check-out?
Check-in time is 3 PM or later on the day of your arrival. Check-out is promptly at 11 AM. No late check-out requests, please. Our cleaners will arrive at 11:15 AM to begin cleaning the chalet cabin for the next guests. For early check-in requests please call us a day or two in advance. Early check-in is not guaranteed and depends on availability.
Are towels and linens provided?
Yes. Claycomb Chalets provides bath towels and washcloths in every chalet cabin for up to 6 guests. If your party has more than 6 guests then you should plan on bringing towels and washcloths. Bedding including sheets and pillows are provided for the maximum number of guests allowed in your chalet cabin.
Are pots and pans, plates, silverware, etc. provided?
Yes. Each chalet cabin has a set of cookware, plates, silverware, glassware, etc. for up to 7 guests. Each chalet cabin has a dishwasher and dish soap is provided.
How far from Seven Springs resort is Claycomb Chalets?
Claycomb Chalets is approximately 5 miles from Seven Springs resort on the same road. To reach Seven Springs resort please turn left out of our driveway and follow County Line Road 5 miles the entrance to Seven Springs on the right. Drive time is approximately 10 minutes from Claycomb Chalets to the lower parking lot of Seven Springs resort.
How far is Ohiopyle from Claycomb Chalets?
Ohiopyle State Park is a quick 27-minute drive from Claycomb Chalets. Turn right from our driveway to the stop sign and turn left. Follow Route 711 for 7 miles to Route 381 and make a left at the three-way intersection. Follow Route 381 for another 7 miles to the borough of Ohiopyle. All of the outfitters, tours, restaurants, and shops will be on your left after you cross the train tracks. There is one outfitter located just before the train tracks on your left.
How far is Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater from Claycomb Chalets?
Fallingwater is a short 25-minute drive from Claycomb Chalets. Turn right from our driveway to the stop sign and turn left. Follow Route 711 for 7 miles to Route 381 and make a left at the three-way intersection. Follow Route 381 for 6 miles to the entrance of Fallingwater on your left.
What is there to do in the area surrounding Claycomb Chalets?
There are dozens of things to do in the area surrounding Claycomb Chalets. Seasonal outdoor activities such as downhill skiing, fishing, kayaking, river rafting, hiking, biking, and more are all just minutes away from Claycomb Chalets.

I’m getting married nearby. Do you have room for my wedding party to stay?
Yes! Claycomb Chalets can accommodate up to 40 guests on the property. We have several wedding venues nearby including Sanaview Farms, The Red Silo Barn, Seven Springs, and Hidden Valley Resorts. Do Claycomb Chalets allow parties on the property?
All pre-planned parties must be first approved by Claycomb Chalets. A party larger than your maximum allowed guests will require booking additional if not all of the chalet cabins for your event. You may not exceed the maximum number of guests allowed per your rental agreement(s). Large gatherings such as family reunions, birthday parties, and holiday parties must have prior approval from the owners of Claycomb Chalets. The owners are on-site and manage the property, therefore have the ultimate authority to allow a party with prior approval or not. All parties and events are subject to a $1,500 damage deposit that may be returned if no damage was caused to the property. Our guest policy strictly states that no guest shall impede on another guest’s right to peace and privacy while enjoying their stay at Claycomb Chalets. Any person found to violate this policy will be asked to leave the property immediately. No refunds will be issued.

Are your cabins disabled access friendly?
All of our full-sized chalet cabins have stone staircases to the front entrances. Our Bear Claw Chalet has a single step onto the back deck that can be accessed by a wheelchair with assistance. Our Wolf Den Apartment Chalet has a single six-inch step at the front door that can be accessed by a wheelchair with assistance.
How far in advance do you recommend booking?
Our calendar fills up quickly during peak summer and winter seasons. We recommend that our guests book their stay as far out as possible to guarantee the chalet cabin they want for their visit. Currently, our calendar accepts reservations 18 months in advance.
Do Claycomb Chalets have hot tubs?
No. Due to the extreme weather maintenance issues during the winter months, we have elected not to have hot tubs at Claycomb Chalets.
